Some useless sack of shit hit my driver's side passenger door and gashed up the paint and caused a dent. I was cleanly parked, with damn near if not perfect spacing. So how inept does someone have to be to not have the awareness to notice there's a car parked next to them when they open their door? SR20 will be posted once I stop seeing red.

That's why I always park in what I call "the no-dent zone" of the mall's parking lot. Every parking lot has one: is the most distant from the entrances, where everyone who cares for his car always leaves an empty space between his car and the next. Of course you don't have to mind walking a little... but you can tell yourself that it's good to keep your beer gut under control...

I was a good distance and no one was next to me when I parked. I even use a light pole as a buffer as often as possible because people seem to avoid near those.
